The National Lampoon College Network was a targeted campus media and closed-circuit television network created when National Lampoon acquired the Burly Bear Netwok in late 2002 to reach undergraduate students.

Acquisition: Formed after CEO Daniel Laikin bought Lorne Michaels’s Burly Bear Network, which operated across hundreds of college campuses.
Reach: Broadcast programming and original content to over 400–600 university campuses and millions of students.
Content Lineup: Featured alternative comedy, variety shows like The Network!, game and review segments like Gamers, student debate series, and short-form lifestyle or prank clips tailored to dorm life.
Digital Expansion: Extended later into online broadband partnerships and acquisitions like DrunkUniversity.com to capture grassroots undergraduate web traffic.
